Sometimes off-the-shelf just doesn't cut it. When you want something bespoke, I can help bring your ideas to life.
Large or small, quirky or conventional - I'm open to ideas! Commissioning isn't as expensive as you might think and it's the best way to get that perfect piece that you just won't find in the shops. I'll involve you at every stage of the process, from design and wood selection to aftercare.
I craft all sorts of things from wood but I specialise in using epoxy resin to create uniquely eye-catching pieces. The possibilities of using this coloured resin combined with cuts of beautiful wood are endless. I can make something that’s perfectly suited to your home, from tables to lamp stands.

1. Briefing
We'll start by talking about what you want. Where will it go? What's it for? What styles and materials do you like...and so on. I'll capture all these details into a backbrief along with costs for you to approve.
2. Design process
I'll draw up a few design options for you to feed back on. We'll make refinements to ensure the final design meets your brief, and once you're happy for me to progress to manufacture I'll usually take a 50% deposit.
3. Manufacturing
This is when I make a start in the workshop. I'll keep you updated on progress. Upon completion we can arrange collection/delivery and I'll request payment of the balance.
4. Aftercare
Bespoke wooden pieces will last for generations. I'll make sure you know how best to care for yours, and will provide you with a complimentary wood treatment from my aftercare range on orders over £100.
